He played D’Artagnan in Bernard Bordery’s 1961 film adaptation of The Three Musketeers. On February 15, Gérard Barre died at the age of 92 in Marbella, Spain, where he had settled with his family. In addition to his leading roles, he also appeared in several television series and published the novel L’Artiste: La mariée dormait encore (The Artist: The Bride Was Still Sleeping) in 2018 with publisher Christian Navarro.
